Lost or Stolen Bulldog puppy
- TomB (11th Jun 2014 - 23:32:15)

Hello all,
Moved into our house just over a month ago on Longmoor Rd near Old Thorns. Our dogs were running around this (Wed 11th June) evening in the front/back garden when we noticed around 9pm our Bulldog puppy wasn't there. Looked everywhere for her around the garden and neighbourhood, but to be honest she hates walking anywhere far, and doesn't really go anywhere without our other dog so can't imagine she's run away! There is a chance she could've got out as the neighbour's fences are down.. but she never goes far if she does.
Being a bulldog (not KC) she's quite expensive so could have been the target of a theft, which is very upsetting.
If anyone does see her, her name is Daisy, she's mainly white in colour with some brown/reddish facial markings. She's got a lovely temperament. She is chipped and has a tag with my wife's number on it.
This is very upsetting, and so we're offering a reward of £200 if anyone finds her! My number is 07876 758837, name is Tom.

Forgot to mention she was wearing a green collar with little metal bones on it!

Hello Tom,
I hope by the time you read this you may have found your puppy. I can only imagine the trauma of losing a much loved dog. If she is still missing, my suggestion is that you contact Doglost Uk on 0844 800 3220 immediately. They are an organisation that gives round the clock advise and information to people to help them find missing dogs, and have thousands of volunteers covering all areas who help with postering and searching, cross checking dogs for sale, door knocking etc.
From a huge dog lover, all the very best of luck.

Am so sorry to hear about your puppy...

Doglost have probably been in touch with you by now, but if there's any chance she may have been stolen, you need to make her "too hot to handle"... It's worked in quite a few cases.

Whether she's been lost or stolen, upload her picture to Doglost and then you can print out Lost/Stolen posters and get them up everywhere in the area... if you need some help then get in touch on mirandarowe1@hotmail.com.

I so hope you find her soon.
Good luck and keeping fingers firmly crossed.
Miranda

Poor little Daisy must be so scared :-(

I live on the Longmoor road, just before the bend at the bottom. My husband walks our three dogs and I have just told him to be on the lookout for Daisy.

If I can help in anyway please feel free to contact me ...

Dogslost is a brilliant organisation and I am so glad the previous posters advised you about them.

Keeping everything crossed, Rachel.

I strongly suggest you post on Facebook with a photo of your puppy - the power of the people is amazing and has helped many others, and being an animal lover, I'm sure you will want to do all you can to find your beloved dog. It's also work doing a flyer and asking the local vet to put a copy of it on his window. Good luck.

Doglost is saying "Reunited" - that Daisy was handed in to an animal sanctuary...

Love a happy ending! So pleased.

great news, but it says found in Brighton - really ?

I too am glad to hear it.
Agree with The Ed' though... Brighton?! - I do wonder sometimes when someone sees a sniff of a reward....? or am I being too cynical...
either way, glad Daisy is back with her pack.

Thank you all so much for the kind words.. I can confirm she was found in a neighbour's shed late this morning! Not sure why Dogs lost thought she was handed into a shelter but it doesn't matter.

It was very traumatising for all, not least Daisy, but it's nice to find out what a lovely bunch of people live around our area!

So relieved she wasn't stolen.. had been reading all sorts of horror stories of spates of dog thefts in our area so guess it's something everyone needs to be on the lookout for, as there's some pretty unsavoury characters out there.

As for me.. time to find the hole she got out from!

Hi Tom
As you've just moved, did you remember to update the microchip company with your pets new details? Otherwise they will be contacting your old address if you lose any of your pets again. Their number is 0844 4633 999
