Party venue
- Frank Baldry (27th Feb 2009 - 16:15:01)

My wife will be celebrating her x0th Birthday this year and we are looking for a suitable venue to celebrate the big occasion. Can anyone suggest/recommend anywhere please? Anticipating 100-150 guests, disco and a bar would be welcome too. Thanks

I was paying for my booking of the Liphook Village Hall (Headley Road) and noticed they have a number of Birthday parties booked (adults as well as kids.)

It can hold up to 150 but there is no bar.

Mrs Madgwick is in charge of the bookings, 729080

The Millennium Hall is very good and the staff are very helpful.

Bohunt have a number of halls available and is nice and central if you are inviting a lot of locals.

The village hall is ok but has limited parking and I have found it tends to be a bit 'snug' with more than 70 people.

If you want a reliable friendly and outside bar I can recommend an excellent one (they will also supply a licensed door supervisor if required).

Have fun!!

I had my 'big' birthday party at The Devils Punchbowl Hotel and also attended 2 other friends parties there. It's a good venue...inexpensive, good large function room with a bar, buffet food provided if required and very helpful friendly staff.

Hi

I am secretary of the Liphook Social Club (Bramshott Parish Club) Headley Road, Liphook. As Helen posted
we can offer a venue for parties, leaving do's, wedding anniversary's, christenings, family get togethers or even wakes. We can provide buffet food, tea and coffee. Please don't hesitate to call me on 01428 722711 and leave a message and I will get straight back to you.
Cheers
Dave
