Needed: Farmer with tractor to mow a small paddock - Stephen D (5th Jun 2014 - 13:20:40) Does anyone locals have a small tractor with gress cutting equipment (unlikely) or know someone who does. I need to get a small (1 acre) paddock mowed. I have contacted some of the local landscape gardeners but I believe that the grass is too long (1 foot) and thick for their equipment and I would need something more agricultural. Local would help as I've used a farmer from further away before and pay more for their time driving than the few minutes they take to cut. Alternatively, if anyone has a scythe and fancies some old fashioned labour, they're welcome. There's also a possibility of a free large muck heap for anyone with the equipment to take away in one go.
