Local Builders - Sue W (20th Feb 2009 - 23:17:31) Hi We are looking for a good local builder to undertake a conversion of a small extension into a Kitchen/diner. Having had a Liphook roofer - Terry Nash (who is excellent), we wish to support another local Business Any recommendations?

Re: Local Builders - missyr (21st Feb 2009 - 18:10:16) Don't use BHI - real rip off, came to give me a quote when I was home alone, thought I was a daft single woman who didn't know the value of things and quoted thousands for a very simple job that several other companies had only quoted a few hundred for!

Re: Local Builders - Kevin Feeney (21st Feb 2009 - 21:19:12) I can recommend Highfield Builders, they did some work for us about 3 years ago and had excellent attitude and quality, the price was also good, I set them a very hard task in a short timescale and they delivered. Re: Local Builders - Sue w (23rd Feb 2009 - 11:43:47) Thanks for your comments BHI - I have heard that they are expensive - but are good - really do not want to pay top dollar - as budget is tight. Never heard of Highfield, but have tried to contact them - no reply to date. Gavin, good to know, but first we need the room completed! There is quite of a bit of work required, at least 3 weeks worth, so if any builders have a gap in their schedules - please leave details.
