Tree Root Removal

During the storms over Christmas we had 6 or 7 large trees fall in our back garden.
Over time we have removed almost all of the trunks etc but don't quite have the tools to get a the fat part of the trunk and the roots.
Looking for a local gardener/tree surgeon with the right kit for the job.
