RP Fighting Blindness Charity Collection - Thank You - Patrick Moran (7th May 2014 - 11:18:23) On Saturday 3rd May, Patrick Moran was joined by his wife Phillipa Moran and father-in-law Brian Bromley at Sainsbury's in Liphook for a store front collection and to raise awareness of the eye disorder Retinitis Pigmentosa. Patrick would like to thank the Customers and Staff of Sainsbury's for their generosity and well wishes on the day. We are delighted to report that you helped us raise a fabulous total of £346.20, all of which goes direct to medical research to identify a cure for RP. I have just had a look at your website, and it is very good, I will really try to come to the conference. I was really pleased to see that there are actually researchers working on RP, I had always just assumed that as it is a rare disease no one was interested. I will gladly help next time you have a collection, editor please can you pass on my e mail address. Many thanks for spreading the word on this condition and for the fundraising.
