Midhurst Road & New Houses
- Colin (3rd May 2014 - 02:05:33)

This week I have driven down the Midhurst road a number of times, near where the old MOD site is being redeveloped. Has anyone else noticed the large amounts of mud, gravel, and sand that is now covering the road? I am assuming it is from the diggers that are constantly going in and out of the development site. Are developers allowed to leave the roads in such a state? Surely is it going to lead to some road drains becoming blocked in the near future?

The Parish Council reported this problem to Building Control at EHDC last Wednesday. I would therefore expect to see the contractor clearing the road more often from now on. If you have further concerns with regard to work on this building site please contact EHDC direct on 01730 266551 and ask for Building Control.
