Bees - swarms
- Lorraine (13th Apr 2014 - 19:44:13)
I am a local beekeeper in Liphook - if you have a swarm of bees and need them removed please call me 07966514841.
I am unable to remove wasps (call council) or bumble bees (black furry round bees) only brown / orange honey bee.
Equally if anyone would like local honey or is interested in training to become a beekeeper pls call or visit website: www.surreybees.co.uk

So what does one do about bumbles? I'd be wary of calling pest control as they'll just kill them and they don't do any harm do they?

Bumbles - we have a bumblebee nest in our garden every year, for last 5 years. They are beautiful creatures and have never stung anyone. Have even sat next to nest and watched them fly round me.

Leave bumble bees, some are very rare. They will only sting if you attack them. They will return to same place year after year as they hibernate. Tend to like under the shed.

I also collect swarms locally, often from difficult places. I specialise in removing bee colonies from buildings too.
