visiting cat
- wendy (7th Apr 2014 - 21:01:39)

Does anyone own a mainly white cat with brown and black tail and face and a brown patch on its left side. He/she has become a daily/nighly visitor to my garden and sleeps in my garage. He/she is a lovely, but timid, cat and I just wanted to know if he/she is lost or has a home. Malthouse meadows/maltings/haslemere road area.

This could be our cat Smudge. She is a tortoiseshell breed and goes awol for days, sometimes weeks at a time. We will be moving in a couple of weeks and I am worried that she will come back to visit and we won't be here. She is micro-chipped, but the vet suggested putting a collar and note asking whoever is feeding her to contact us. Smudge has 2 similar looking torti sisters and they both miss her, as do we.

If I could get a photo to you, then you will know for sure if we are talking about the same cat. Please could you call me on 07973-847215. Many thanks. Alison

Sorry but just wanted to put this back to the top. We now have this cat visiting on a daily bases and it has made our garage its home. If anyone in the haslemere road, malthouse meadows, the maltings and surrounding area think this could be their cat please contact me at wendy_walker@hotmail.co.uk
It is a beautiful cat and we're happy that it feels comfortable to join us, but just want reassurance that it has an owner.

Hi Wendy, couldn't you just pop it down to the vets in Headley Road and ask them to scan it for a microchip?

Hello, this sounds familiar to my cat Max who has been missing for around 6 weeks now... hes gone off in the past and returned out of the blue after a few weeks... however this is the longest time he has been gone for...
Max is mainly white with a black tail and a few patches on his body, and half a black face(white stripe down the middle of his forehead and over his right eye)...is the brown on this cat visiting you a distinct brown?
I hope this may be him and that hes ok!
Max is a male cat who is 3 years old.. hes a medium sized cat with a medium soft coat...
