Hazelbank Close pavement works

I was rather looking forward to a bit of a lay-in this morning, what with it being a Saturday. No such chance! I'm glad the contractors have a strong work ethic but to be woken at 7 by them hammering away? Really?
Surely they could have waited till 8 at least?
