Raised dog bowl feeding stand
- Dawn Hoskins (27th Jan 2009 - 13:53:19)

Does anyone have one of these knocking about that they no longer need?

Poor old dog can't bend down to the floor to eat and drink!

Just thought I'd ask before I layout the megabucks that the pet shop is asking. . . .

thank you on behalf of Toby the dog. woof woof.

sorry your dog is having problems, I have an idea perhaps to stop you spending- have you thought about a small step/stool at the right height and put the feeding./water bowl on the raised smallplatform? It might work!

Hello

How high do you need to raise the bowl , I could turn a wooden pedastal with a reccess for the bowl to sit in ?

About 8 - 10 inches I suppose.
The poor old boy is at the vets today having some horible stuff done.

I did try putting the bowls on a regular kick stool but it got pushed about in his haste (greedy pig) and all ended up on the floor!

I have been given a tip about filling a couple of buckets with sand and putting the bowls on the top. that may work as they would be too heavy to push over - but not very attractive in the kitchen methinks.

Keep an eye out at Lidl, they often sell them at a fraction of the cost and are just as good quality.

Could make you one quite easily and cheaply! Ask Ed for my email. Regards Liza
