OSU Site

Every time I pass the OSU site, it reminds me of something. For quite a while I couldn't put my finger on it.
Bit of a wasteland. Often in the media. Causes political tension. Uncertain future. Surrounded by fences ... hmmm.
Then it dawned on me.
Guantanamo.

I cannot see any mention of this on the minutes or agendas unless it was the subject of secret talks btween Obama and Phil Kedge to use it as a holding facility for antisocial nippers prior to torturing them ?????
As usual I will try to find out.....!!!!???

Planning permission was given for this site. There is a planning website run by EHDC, with all details on there. It also received a lot of publicity in the local paper.
