Missing Tabby & White Cat
- Nicky Allington (28th Mar 2014 - 07:27:42)

Missing since Tuesday 25th March - tabby and white cat called Socks due to his 4 white paws. Socks is microchipped & has a white tummy, face and a dirty smudge under his chin. We miss him desperately. Any sightings please call 07584163754 or 01428 725508. Thank You.

So sorry to hear your baby has gone missing.
What area was he last seen in?

I'm very sorry to say that there is a body of a large tabby cat lying at the entrance to the fields opposite the church on the headley road. It has a severe head injury. Unfortunately I had my dog with me and was unable to do anything about it. RIP little puss x

Thank you for your messages and phone calls. The cat on the Headley road is not Socks. It has been taken to the vets . It is female and is not microchipped. So sorry for whose owner it is :(
Socks was last seen in Lark Rise, off The Avenue in Liphook. Please keep looking.

We have removed and taken this beautiful female tabby cat to the vets. Sadly she was not micro chipped. If you know anyone missing a large female tabby around the Headley Road please let them know.

This was not the cat mentioned in the first link so please keep a look out for him.

I hate to ask the lady who found the tabby & white cat but did you notice if the cat was longhaired? I live in Whitehill and my neighbours beautiful tabby and white cat has been missing since Friday last week.

Paula the poor tabby yesterday was from a family in Liphook so definately not your friends. Ours still has not appeared but there seems to be a lot of cats that are missing??

Jeremy I'm so sorry that it was your cat that was found yesterday. She was clearly a beautiful and well loved pet and will be sorely missed.

Thank you Nicky and I am so sorry Jeremy, it is heart breaking. As you say Nicky there seems to be a lot of cats going missing. My beautiful ginger and white cat went missing in 2009 with no news and I still wait every day for him. My elderly cat went missing just before him and everything pointed to someone putting her in a car and dumping her somewhere. Fortunately someone did find her. There is no way she would of been nosy and got into a car, as our garden is far away from any cars and she did not really leave the garden.

There also seems to have been a spate of sightings of cats in Queen Elizabeth Country Park. A ladies cat from Bordon was found dead on the A3 just there and he never left her garden.

A very worrying time at the moment.
