Old photos & slides - Helen (21st Jan 2009 - 18:46:11) PRC is running a special offer on prints or scans from old slides and photos...85p and 70p each respectively, with quotation on large orders. We are also urging people to get their digital photos printed as storing them on your computer is risky and even CDs can deteriorate after a period of time. The sad truth is that in years to come there may well be a gap in social photographic history as more and more people view their images on computers and not hard copies in albums, so print them yourselves at home or drop in to see us at PRC for competative photo processing prices. (sorry Ed, blatant free advertising but we recently had a client who lost almost 4 years of digital photos which had been stored on a computer that died a sudden death...devastating!)

Re: Old photos & slides - Karen F (21st Jan 2009 - 20:08:16) My husband recently discovered some old slides of him and his family which were taken back in Galway in the early 60's. He took the slides to PRC and they did an excellent job of putting them onto CD. It was wonderful to be able to see the photos, some of which my husband and his brothers did not even know existed. Photographs are for sharing and re-living your family history. Thanks to Helen and the team at PRC!

We have a kiosk in the shop so you can choose the images you want printed from CD, digital camera cards etc. With digital now we all tend to take hundreds of shots (I know I do) so my advice is to print off the special ones only and keep in albums for the future. Re: Old photos & slides - Helen (25th Jan 2009 - 08:34:38) Hi John No problem, email address is office@prcdigital.co.uk. All you need to do is state the size, quantity and paper finish. If you want to get larger amounts over to us electronically, we offer a free FTP account to all our customers. It is quick and easy to set up and very simple to use. You can then upload your images from your computer directly to our servers and then pop into the shop the next day to collect them. Hope this helps Kind regards Helen
