Want to meet local mums
- Katie (12th Mar 2014 - 14:30:10)
Hi,
I have just moved to Liphook from London and have a 9 month old baby boy. I would love to meet some local mums and babies for a bit of social interaction for us both!
I grew up just north of Haslemere, but don't know Liphook at all. Any suggestions for places to take a baby, playgrounds etc. or baby groups would be really appreciated too.
Thanks,
Katie

Hi Katie
I go to a toddler group on Friday mornings at the Church Centre 10-12pm. It's a very friendly group with a range of children ages - at present there are quite a few babies coming along.
If you would like to give this one a try - you will certainly get to meet some local mums!

Jiggy Wrigglers is on Fridays at Liphook Guide Hall, 9.30am mixed ages and 10.45am for under 18 months.
Music activity group which uses props, instruments, parachute games, puppets, bubbles and more!
It is a pay as you go group with no booking required.
Friendly, informal group. X

Hi Katie
Yes there are other small babies there. There is a real range of children that come to this group from very small, to pre-school age. And now that the warm weather is coming we can take advantage of the fantastic garden and the bigger ones can go outside and play.
Come along and try it out, you've got nothing to lose!

Hi Katie,
I run TinyTalk baby signing classes, at Liphook Methodist church on Thursdays at 10-11am, which is a great way to meet local mums and help your little one communicate before they can talk. It's lots of fun with songs and rhymes and time to chat and have a cuppa too! Have a look at my website for more info.

Hi Katie,
Welcome to Liphook :-) I also have a 9 month old son and there's lots to do in and around Liphook. We go to Tiny Talk and it's a lovely friendly group and we also go to Jiggy Wrigglers most weeks too. Let me know if you fancy meeting up or going to one of the groups and I'll look out for you.

Thanks for your message.
I am planning to go to Jiggy Wrigglers this Friday, so I will hopefully see you there. Tiny Talk also sounds great.
