Liphook Top of the League - Nigel Marr (29th Dec 2008 - 16:04:50) Those of you who follow the local papers will have seen that Kevin Adair and his team have made a fantastic start to the season in the new Surrey Elite Intermediate Football League and Saturday saw an impressive 6-0 victory over Milford & Whitley. This result saw Liphook move to the top of the league in what is a highly competitive and hard football league. Saturday sees us play West Wight from the Isle of Wight in the next round of the Hampshire Cup which Kevin and the boys aim to retain this year. We are also still competing in the Aldershot Senior Cup and the League Cup so plenty more football for the Liphook community to view. Please join me in offerring Kevin and his players our full support and backing as they continue to fly the flag for Liphook and make sure that Liphook is the envy of the local footballing community. www.liphook-united.org

Re: Liphook Top of the League - andy (29th Dec 2008 - 17:56:01) well done kevin and the lads.good luck for saturday and the rest of the season.for those of you interested in liphook youth,the u16a team are top of NE HANTS premier lge,qtr-final lge cup and qtr-final county cup where they have difficult away game against salisbury city.good luck lads and to all the other teams for 2009.
