Lidba - Amanda B (28th Dec 2008 - 18:53:16) Anyone know when next years ride will take place? The Liphook Community Magazine quotes 9th June 2009 which is a Tuesday!? Thank you in advance [editor - not sure what date the magazine printed, but the next LiDBA charity bike ride is on the 7th June 2009.]

Re: Lidba - Roger Miller (28th Dec 2008 - 21:17:41) We can confirm that The Charity Bike Ride will be held on Sunday 7th June 2009. Arrangements for the Ride are now underway and entry forms will be available within the next two months. We are always looking for additional help in a number of areas, such as helping as marshals, erecting signs both at Bohunt and on the route,helping with the pre ride arrangements,persuading potential sponsors to support the Ride, helping register the riders on the day, setting up at The Bohunt Centre, etc. Although we already have some Sponsors we are still seeking other sponsors for the Start/Finish banner, mileage countdown signs, the Junior Ride , refreshments stops and the Completion Certificates plus advertising in the Ride Booklet. Our target is to raise in excess of £55,000 for the local charities to match or exceed last year's total.
