Dawn,
I assume this is for acoustic guitars only as electricity seems to be a rare commodity in Passfield at the moment.

Ha Ha, I don’t want to think about last Christmas when we had 19 for boxing day and tried valiantly to cook on one camping calor-gaz ring and light the house with candles. What a horror that was!!
About the guitar lessons, my son is trying to work to his strengths and earn some money by setting this up – and I applaud him for that. He has converted the boot room into a music room to accommodate students and is busy printing off notices to put up around town.
He is a brilliant guitarist and I know that he will be an excellent teacher for any age – so I hope that he will be successful.

Dawn,
count my son in. I assume he could do bass guitar lessons too ?
"junior Finchie" looks super cool in the mirror - with expensive bass guitar wrapped around neck - "daddy Finchie" now looking for some kind of return on investment !!!
I would even put up with "pantage exposure" with trousers half way down bum - if any kind of decent sound could be played. Am I getting old - or what !
What drives me nuts is that I get a hard time if I reveal my Y fronts - one rule for some - another rule for others.
I think we should have a Liphook Dads "Pantage Day". We all expose half our bums - then the kids will realise what t@ats they look - anyone in ?
Cheers, FinchPr

Hi Finchie
Dan mainly plays regular electric, but can certainly cover all the basic playing, tuning etc of bass guitar.
When basic level playing has been reached, he can move on to playing tunes along side a regular guitar / drums.
After all the basics of playing have been reached, Dan will pass him on to someone who specialises in bass – so he can reach true rock star status – which may (I’m afraid) involve pants out of trousers, studded metal belts, groupies etc etc
Dan will reduce the price as he will not be able to see him through to ‘super stardom’ levels of competence, so please call to arrange times etc. [01428 751561]
Happy Crimbo to you and yours.

Amps etc now installed in boot room - all he needs now are some students!
So, please let everyone you know (who is learning electric guitar) that they can now have very cheap lessons in Passfield.
Parents can stay to watch / listen etc if concerned about dropping off a youngster.

I have to say Dan has been fantastic. Highly recommended and exceptional value.
Now I just have to find a lead guitar, drummer, and singer to go with my bass playing !
Cheers, Finchie Jr

Hi there,
Yep - age has nothing to do with learning! So Dan can certainly assist.
He starts his lessons at 6:30pm during the week, as he gets home from Alton at about 5:30 and then chills out for a bit (and eats!).
Weekends are also OK, however Saturdays are pretty booked after 11 o'clock. [also, I'm not too sure he could get out of bed before that time LOL]
He has spaces on Wed, thur & Fri.

The phone number is at the top of the page.
You may have to leave a message - but Dan will get back to.
