Postman Walking Faster - Paul Robinson (11th Dec 2008 - 07:58:23)
So the Royal Mail have asked that their postmen to walk faster in order that post gets delivered sooner.
Well all I can say is, if Adam Crozier and any of his fellow board members cares to spend a day with our postman Mick Suter they will have their work cut out for them just keeping up with him!
Since the Royal Mail instituted new hours of work our postmen and women now start later than they used to and finish later. Initially this resulted in later delivery times however due to the dilligence of the Liphook team our post is delivered at the same time it ever was.
And it is because of this unique house by house service we know that the TNTs and DHLs of this world who would love to break the Royal Mail monopoly will never succeed.
Well done Liphook Postmen and women.

I think our postmen (and women!) do a great job. Only last Saturday I saw a postman wearing shorts - he certainly cheered up a very cold morning for me!!
