Whats up with it? Even for a DIY duffer like me most repair jobs on electric ovens are ridiculously simple.

If its a case of the element or fan gone then its a 5 minute job.

Let Youtube be your guide!

I have now replaced the element in my oven twice.
You Tube makes it so easy
You can buy the spares online too

Hi Alan,
My oven stopped heating up and I found out via Google that it was down to the element packing in ( the fan and light still worked). I went to this website http://www.ransomspares.co.uk where I bought the element and fitted it myself. It was a 5 minute job because they also put videos on to show you how to fit the part yourself. I hope this helps!

Thanks for the advice, I think it's the thermostat as it is heating beyond temperature setting. New part ordered, watched YouTube on how to do it, fingers crossed
