Crochet

Is anyone experienced in crochet who would be prepared to give me a brief tutorial in some stitches? I have inherited a partially completed table edging from my late grandmother and although I could crochet 40 years ago I can no longer remember how to do lacet stitch etc. I would love to finish it but the pattern book doesn't say how to form the stitches so I am completely stumped.
