Hindhead supported living - support worker - £16,188 be part of the development of an innovative supported housing service for our tenants with independent homes in the Hindhead area. You will need to be sensitive to the needs of people with learning disabilities living in the community, and capable of dealing positively with colleagues and tenants. You will need relevant experience and be able to work on your own initiative as well as being professional, mature and enthusiastic. You will need to have a full driving licence and access to a car. And that it values people !!..........or should do..... worrying & concerning that you advertise in this manner.....

I have first hand experience of advertising in the social care sector and it's practically impossible to attract people to posts. I done blame Whitmore Vale for trying something different. There are many legal requirements in this sector imposed by the Health & Social Care Act - if every employer listed all of them in job adverts they wouldn't stand a chance - everyone would be put off! Advertising a job role is the very first step in a rigorous process to find suitable people to work in a very special and rewarding sector.
