No 13 Bus - where does it stop? - Sharon (1st Feb 2014 - 18:25:08) Hi, if I want to get from Country Market to Liphook, would it be on the number 13 bus? And would I have to catch it on the stretch of road after the traffic lights on the A325? I think I've seen a bus stop there - opposite the house. I am presuming that the bus comes from the Alton direction, not the Farnham direction - so would I have to walk up the hill to the bus stop? I thought I had seen a bus stop outside Country Market - what route runs along that way? I haven't had to use the buses around here for a long time, and they've all changed since then.

Re: No 13 Bus - where does it stop? - Allison (1st Feb 2014 - 19:03:13) If you do a Google search (other search engines are available!) on 13 bus Liphook to Basingstoke, a timetable will come up. It's a good service but beware the ones which only run in term time - read the small print! In Liphook it starts at the station, stops (I think) along Portsmouth Road, definately stops at the Anchor, opposite the Co-op and at the Liphook end of the bridge over the A3. Hope this helps.

Re: No 13 Bus - where does it stop? - dawn (3rd Feb 2014 - 13:34:56) If stuck at Haslemere Station, rather than pay £xxxxxx for a taxi you can get the 18 to Bordon Camp Crossroads which gets there at around 6.30pm, then the 13 to Liphook which leaves at about 6.32pm. You can also change at the Whitehill Turning Circle as both 13 and 18 buses overlap there. Sadly the overlaps are a bit and far between so you have to check it out in advance with military precision if you don’t want to get stranded! Re: No 13 Bus - where does it stop? - Carol Spooner (3rd Feb 2014 - 20:56:36) I have been to the carboots at Country Market and caught the bus back. The 13 bus stops the Bordon side of the traffic lights. If you walk out of the back entrance to Country Market and head for the traffic lights you can cross the road and take the old bit of the original road on the right. Just as you come to the end there if a footpath on your left which takes you up to the main road. Then you cross the road and the bus stop is just down the road opposite the house. No need to change buses .Just to let anyone interested that the 13 bus does not go anywhere near Farnham as it turns left at the traffic lights and goes on to Basingstoke via Alton
