WWI & D-Day memorabilia/memories
- Joanna Elliott (30th Jan 2014 - 11:00:16)

The volunteers from the Heritage Centre will shortly begin work on this exhibition to coincide with the World War I and D-Day nationwide commemorations this year.

They would love to hear from you if you have suitable memorabilia relevant to this area. Similarly, if you grew up in this area and have memories of those times and would like to share them, please contact the HC.

The HC is open from 10am-12 noon on Mondays and Fridays and from 2pm-4pm on Wednesdays. Telephone 01428 727275 or email liphookheritage@btconnect.com

The volunteers at the Liphook Heritage Centre are eagerly awaiting artefacts or memories relating to the WWI or D-Day in and around the Bramshott and Liphook area. Even if you don't have anything, do you know anyone you could mention this to....a friend, relative or neighbour?

The Heritage Centre volunteers are hard at work, preparing for this exhibition. Anyone wishing to contribute memorabilia or memories of this era relating to the Bramshott and Liphook area, please contact the volunteers as soon as possible for details.

Just bumping up this post again, in case anyone has missed it!

It's March already! The volunteers are hard at work on this next project and the clock is ticking (quite literally) to 'D-Day'.....or in our case the launch of this exhibition. If anyone has any suitable memorabilia or memories of life in and around Liphook during WWI or D-Day (including memories past on through previous generations), we would love to hear from you.
Thanks for reading!
