The Ballbarrow ...`
- Finchie (24th Nov 2008 - 20:32:21)
Does anyone remember that. I think it was a James Dyson invention. A green plastic wheelbarrow with a large orange ball instead of a wheel. As a kid I am sure I remember a TV advert on a building site with the chaps playing footie with the ball in their tea break ?!
While raking the leaves this weekend (GRRR - I hate leaves - especially when they are not from MY trees) I was thinking back to my Dad's ballbarrow - the ball meant it was particularly good at not leaving a wheel track in the lawn. Plus you could buy a massive plastic add on - stick it on top of the barrow - to make the ballbarrow the biggest barrow in the world.
Well I thought you might still be able to buy them - can't find one anywhere on the interweb.
So if anyone has one that they want to sell - I will buy it off you for a good price.
Any other fantastic inventions anyone can think of that have disappeared of the face of the earth ?...
Cheers, Finchie
