I have just had a very interesting "chat" with a member of staff on the customer service desk!
It began on me asking how much a sliced loaf of bread had been reduced to, I was surprised when she responded with "they are not allowed to reduce sliced bread"
This I had to find out why! Her response was it then allowed them to get a true picture of what they were selling so helped them with the ordering.
I could not let the conversation end there, I had to ask why in that case did they often run out of bread? She didn't know when questioned further about the general poor stock levels of the shop she made me an offer I feel I must share with you all!!....
If you are unhappy about the lack of choice or levels of stock we are all welcome to request a manager to join us while we are shopping so they can record what stock is missing and answer any questions as to why they run out so often!
This surely is too good an opportunity to pass, I will certainly be taking them up on their kind offer!!!

I have done the same with the Store Manager once before and she took all my points on board and was able to highlight to me some of the reasons why certain products were out of stock, and was generally very helpful.
