curry powder
- Mari (9th Nov 2013 - 13:19:28)

Where around here can I buy a really good curry powder? I used to buy a brand called Bolst's when I lived in London. It was really good but I've tried Schwarz brand Madras and find it tasteless. I don't have grinder etc to make my own so need to buy a good ready made one. Suggestions?

Next time you go to Portsmouth go to North End. Lots of Asian supermarkets selling just what your looking for.
Try KTC brand.

You can buy Bolst powders online. If you like bolst I don't think the madhuban will suit but worth a try if you want a change

Try using the original spices. Raj at the post office/petrol station on Tilford road usually has some in. Avoid whatever the supermarkets sell in the little packets - not very good at all.
