Help - oil burning heating engineer required - Finch (9th Nov 2013 - 13:01:29) Seems wrong posting this when someone in Liphook is missing - so keeping everything crossed. I have just given up on Nat West Home Emergency service as 8 days later made no progress at all. What am I paying for exactly. So anyone out there recommend a heating engineer who has experience of a Oil burner running our heating (or not as has been the case for 8 days). Brand is a firebird. It just falls out of warrenty, so relatively new. While not a life/death situation, it is getting pretty blinking cold. And warming Finchess' feet on my back is just getting a little tedious. Every other suggestion other ways of keeping warm have been resoundly rebuffed - so now getting desparate ! Cheers, Finchie

Re: Help - oil burning heating engineer required - Janet (9th Nov 2013 - 23:31:10) Try Ampella. www.ampella.co.uk They're local (based in Liss). We use them for our oil boiler service and maintenance where I work. They're knowledgeable and reliable, in my experience.
