Please would someone tell me the best place to buy logs locally?
I want to stock up for winter and the ones from garages etc. always seem to be 'spitters'!!!

We sell bags of logs, but depending upon the quantity required, it can be best bought by the lorry load. Our supplier comes from Headley and is L Hughes, 01428 717424. All I can say is try a few and see how you go.

Hi we use Countyside Services, very nice man and the wood is dry, he also sells kindling wood. his number is 01428 642903, 07778169864 and www.tomearis.co.uk

Graham Taylor, local tree surgeon, will arrange for logs to be delivered at your convinience.

Thanks everybody and especially Dee.....just had a huge delivery of very excellent logs at a really good price....pity it's gone warm!!
