CARNIVAL & PROGRAMMES
- Karen Feeney (9th Oct 2008 - 13:40:19)
Dear Liphook
Could do with your assistance with this one. This year, because of several reasons including lack of time, resources and the fact that Liphook has grown so much over the last 10 years, we decided to send out the Carnival programme as an insert in the Liphook Times and Mail. On the basis that mine has not yet arrived, I just wondered if anyone has received their copy yet?
Obviously we need to know if the exercise has or hasn't worked! If you are missing your copy, you can pick one up from the Parish Office or the Co-op and they will be in other shops early next week.
Hope you are all busy working on your Carnival Floats! Not long to go now!!
Many thanks
Karen

Dear Folks
Well, the experiment of the Times and Mail delivering the programmes has not gone well. I have made numerous phone calls to get to the bottom of the situation, and was informed that one of the distributors had been 'fired' on Friday - oops. What I can tell you is that we have come to the bottom of our pile of programmes and that if you have not yet received yours, you probably now won't. So, we do have limited copies available in the Co-op, Cafe 26, Sainsburys and The Parish Office. I can only apologise to you if you didn't receive your programme this year. I will remind you that you can get all the information you need from this web site or The Herald, Messenger and Petersfield Post next week, so hopefully you won't miss anything on the night. We will go back to the drawing board for next year and hopefully normal service will be resumed.
Thanks for your understanding and hope you all have a fabulous Carnival Night!!

Karen,
Would it be possible to create the programme as a PDF download that could be accessed from the carnival section of website?

Hi Anthony
To be honest you can already obtain most of the information contained within the programme from this website! But yes, could try to use that method as another option next year. Good idea!
See you next weekend!
