Liphook United will aim to bounce back from a demoralising home defeat to AFC Aldermaston in the HPFL Senior Cup last Saturday and seize their second chance to kickstart a strong cup run. Southampton are also in search of success after exiting the Senior Cup on home soil at the second round stage with a 3-0 defeat to Colden Common, and the hosts have picked up one point from their last three league games. United earned the bragging rights the last time the teams met, securing a comfortable 5-1 victory at the Recreation Ground in the Hampshire Premier League. But Liphook are under no illusions about the task in hand, and striker Steve Harding believes it is crucial to forget defeat last weekend: “We want to go out there on Saturday with the right attitude and focus for 90 minutes.
