Body in Radford Park?
- Alex Cameron (8th Oct 2008 - 14:19:24)

I went for an evening walk in the park a few days back and there were 4 police cars in the parking area. Heard later from a friend whose house backs onto the main common that a body had been found.

Does anyone have any details about it?

I have been told by several people that the body was of a young man who lived in/around Liphook. There were NO suspicious circumstances as far as I can make out.
Hopefully the rumour mill will not go into overdrive and have some respect for his poor family who must be devastated.

Just had a conversation with a friend who knows what's gone on. I actually knew the guy (he was around my age) and it's genuinely very sad.

It's probably not the time to go into detail, but it was a local man who had started living in a tent in the corner of the park near the sandstone caves after being kicked out of home. Apparently someone saw his feet outside of the tent and discovered he was dead.

Truly very sad, and not suspicious.
