Friends of Liphook Junior School - Kenn MacDonald (4th Oct 2008 - 19:54:42) The Friends of Liphook Junior School (FOLJS) raised over £12,000 for the school last year and this money was spent on a hearing sound system for one of the classrooms, data loggers to use in Science lessons, Projection and sound equipment for the hall, water coolers for each wing of the school AND we refurbished the children's kitchen for cookery classes!!! As a committee we have a huge THANK YOU to give to everyone who supported our school fundraising events. Sadly a large number of our members and helpers have moved on with their children to other schools and we really need enthusiastic parents and carers to join us! FOLJS is a great way to meet other parents and to help the school in ways that can really benefit your children! We are holding our AGM at Liphook Junior School on Friday 10th October at 3.45pm. There is an opportunity for you to come along and meet the committee and find out about all the exciting projects we have in mind for this year! We are keen to share ideas too! There will be a DVD for your children so you can chat to us, and even a cup of tea or coffee for you! How can you possible miss it!!!
