Girls football match Liphook Park
- JB (9th Oct 2013 - 03:15:42)

On Sunday 6th Oct. took grandson to Liphook park. There was a girls football match taking place . Walked around the pitch to see loads of discarded plastic water bottles but as game was still in progress thought they would be all collected up at the end. WRONG. Walked back across park to leave and we collected 7 of these bottles up and binned the.them. Surely any visitors using our village facilities should be responsible and have consideration for other. Hope this does NOT happen again.

Hello

I can only offer an apology; I always make sure that the empty bottles are collected up before I head home, on both Saturday and Sunday. I was probably still in the clubhouse tidying up, the nets, flags, training equipment, and serving behind the bar.

My normal practice before I leave is to walk the pitch with a bin bag and collect any rubbish left over, to make sure we leave it as we find it. Looks like in the case you got there before me. Thank you for collecting the bottles and rest assured there is a system in place to ensure this does not happen.
