Mosaic classes - Julie (8th Oct 2013 - 14:18:43) Yesterday I spent a lovely day doing a mosaic workshop class. All was provided even a beautiful lunch in a lovely setting not far from our village. If anybody is interesting to do such a workshop please be in touch for the details. I came home with a beautiful piece of work all ready to grout after having a wonderfully relaxing day. Well worth it.

I run day courses in Hindhead in which you will produce a lovely piece of mosaic work to take home. You will learn all the skills you need to carry on this fabulous hobby and as I have learnt, it is quite addictive. The day includes lunch and everything you need to make your mosaic. The cost is £90 for groups of 3 or less and £70 for 4 and above. It would make a great Christmas present for someone wanting to learn a new skill for a creative and long lasting hobby. Re: Mosaic classes - Andrea (14th Oct 2013 - 19:15:32) Hi, thanks for your interest. The course is £90 each for 3 or less persons and £70 each for 4+. That includes all your materials and lunch,drinks and snacks( you need those for concentration!!)With regard to children I think that I would be happy to have young people of 13 and over for a morning workshop of £40 each( max 5 students) including everything with drinks and mid morning cakes . The reason it would not be suitable for very young children is that the tiles are glass and they are cut with tools that need larger hands. Protective goggles are worn at all times .
