Rubbish dumped behind station road shops
- Jenny (1st Oct 2013 - 16:10:54)

Does anyone take responsibility for rubbish being dumpped behind the shops at station road it looks discussing surely this is classed as illegal dumping, why not break up the boxes and put in the bins

These boxes are clearly marked Escarda Hair Designs, Station Road. Although the boxes are beginning to get wet indicating that they have probably been there a couple of days, I have no doubt that Escarda will be disposing of them soon, now that they know that they have been spotted.

As for litter picking the area behind the shops in Station Road, I believe that the last time they were cleared up was during the last Liphook In Bloom litterpick. Great fun, we got three bagfulls from this area alone.

You would think people would have more respect than to fly tip outside their own shops, have been past numerous times and it\'s a terrible mess.

This eyesore of rubbish has been there for at least 6 weeks !! Totally shocking. People should have more pride in their workplace and its surrounding areas. Its like they think, if it gets left there long enough other people will clear up there mess !! Lazy plain lazy !!

Paul I think you may find these boxes have been dumped here for most of the summer if they were to be moved I think they would have been by October

Perhaps we ought to have a named and shamed on Liphook Talkback. We do seem to have our fair share of badly behaved residents.

Obviously the woman that drives the bakers van is getting fed up with the rubbish as this evening she has driven her van right on top of it as she has nowhere else to park !!

So sad , I lived in the flat above the once newsagents about 1980 and all those flats were kept really well, why have the people renting this group of shops and flats let it get so bad. People seem to have lost pride in keeping things nice.

A.Ryan, I have the perfect answer for that, but they will not let me publish it on this forum... Those of us with eyes wide open know...

Lets not forget also the amount of general rubbish (soiled duvets, furniture car tyres) and the rest, dumped at the recycling area underneath the 'no fly tipping zone' sign at sainsburys
