MERIDIAN NEWS SOUTH (or not!) - jennyw (26th Sep 2013 - 23:08:45) Could anyone enlighten me as to why in recent weeks Meridian News South has become Meridian News South East? Rather than getting news of our area during Daybreak and after the 10pm news, I am hearing all about what is happening in Kent and East Sussex - which concerns me little! Has our regional news switched to another Sky Channel, rather than the usual 103? - or maybe Meridian think we don't have anything newsworthy to report in this area! I watch the local BBC news, but would still like to know Meridian's take on it. Does it vary according to where one lives in Liphook?

With Freesat you simply enter a postcode that is clearly in the region you want, such as a Basingstoke one (this is also the solution on YouView for those who have trouble getting good reception from Hannington). If you are not on a Sky subscription package then you could switch to Freesat. If you stick with Sky you can add ITV South into the Other Channels menu: www.satelliteforcaravans.co.uk/tuneitv.htm. It seems the TV companies and hardware manufacturers don't know where Liphook is!
