I'm not due till January - but may I ask the main ages that come to both your groups, do you have many babies?

Thanks ;)

My favourite group was First Babies, 1.45-3 at the Church Centre, it was £1 donation with tea & coffee. It's babies only up to about a year old, so very calm and safe for babies, with lots of mats & soft toys etc. That's where I met all my mummy friends! Sadly now he's too old for it, miss that one! Also Little Lambs on Tues morning has a baby area, but is more busy/noisy as toddlers there too. Also Royal School on a Wednesday morning from 9.30 I think, it's a free group with free tea & coffee, great for babies, and lots of lovely mums. And there are various NCT groups like baby talk, and sponsored (ie free) coffee & cake at places like Applegarth, and other coffee shops around, which you can go to even if you're not a member of NCT - have a look at the haslemere/midhurst NCT page on Facebook where they're advertised.

Hi Katie,

I run TinyTalk baby signing classes, Liphook one is Thursday morning at 10am at the Methodist church. It's a great class to do with your little one any time from 2-3 months onwards to give them the skills to be able to communicate with you before they can talk. If you'd like any more info please feel free to contact me or have a look on my website www.tinytalk.co.uk/jennyha

I also have a 1 year old, so am usually around at some of the other Liphook groups that others have already mentioned!

Jenny

The local branch of the NCT runs lots of coffee mornings, walks etc throughout the month, as well as the regular Baby Talk session at The Royal School as mentioned before. All are free to attend (many are sponsored so you get a free cuppa and cake too!) and you don't have to be an NCT member.... Have a look at their web page to find out what's on and when:

Hi,

cant believe no one has recommended Little Lambs at the church centre on a tuesday. 9.30-11.45. £1.50 donation to come in. tea coffee toys craft. its anything from newborns to school age.

I spent 8 years going here and had a lovely time every week and met some of my best friends through Little Lambs. Cant recommend it enough.

I know the lady that runs the Friday group and whilst i haven't ever been (mine are all at school now) i know it too is a brilliant group.

good luck for January.
