Hi,
Just to say Liphook's exchange is behind the Royal Mail Sorting Office on the Portsmouth Road (the larger building at the very rear of the plot) and Passfield's is two doors to the right of the Passfield Stores. Milland's is the little wooden building on the right just before Cartersland Corner.
Hope that helps, wondered why you needed to know?
Darren.

Thanks Darren,

I did think that would be the most likely place as it would follow an old Post Office Telephones "tradition" but i wasn't sure.I really just wanted to know far i am from the exchange for broadband purposes, however i understand that cables don't always take the shortest route.

Thanks again,John..

Hi,

I'm afraid the Liphook exchange is currently not in rollout plans for fibre so we won't be getting it soon sadly.

You can keep up to date at www.superfast-openreach.co.uk.

It might not be on the planned roll out as yet, but register your interest, as the more of us do, the quicker we are likely to see it happen here. Fair enough really any organisation has to have a reason to upgrade. introduce a service and make sure there will be sufficient, and early enough, pay back to make it profitable.
