Liphook Carnival - Jan Roles (1st Sep 2013 - 17:02:37) Tony & I have just returned from helping as Marshals with the Carnival Walk. It was a great day for the walk and as always was very well organised. We met some very nice people and everyone we spoke to enjoyed the route very much - also the sausage & bacon butties! We then had a very enjoyable Roast Beef dinner at Whiteleys and will certainly be going back. Whilst writing I would also like to mention The Carnival which takes place on Saturday 26th October and if you are new to the area you might like to check out the 2012 Carnival Video - for ideas maybe to enter your own float ? or if you were there last year you may see yourself on film! The Video is available from the Parish Office for a donation of £5 - all of which goes towards the Carnival. Hope to see you there this year. Jan
