calling all grandparents, and parents. - Lesley (31st Aug 2013 - 13:19:30) It is the Liphook Horticultural Society Autumn Flower Show next Saturday, 7th Sept. We have a children's section which has not had many entries in the last couple of shows. If you have the time perhaps you could do something with your grandchildren. The categories are; 1 A photo of a vegetable (max size A4) 2 An enchanted garden, which can be made from anything you like, paint, print, collage 3D or anything else you can find. 3 A bunch of paper flowers. There is no cost for entering but you need to let the society know that you want to put something in. Liphook Hardware are taking entries so all you need to do is put the name and age of the child and which of the categories you want to enter on a piece of paper and hand it in there. The items then need to be taken to the Church Centre by 10am on Saturday morning. There is a cup to be won and consolation prizes of sweets for all who enter.
