Did anyone go to this and how vigorous is the exercise?

Re: New Gentle Exercise Class

Hi Lesley
We have a group of around 14 ladies who regularly attend (we have relocated here from Bohunt School where the class had been held for 15 years).
The class is not too vigorous as I tailor it to suit the age and abilities of my ladies in the class. I try to vary the class content from week to week, eg low impact aerobics, body conditioning using resistance tubes, circuit training (with age appropriate exercises, of course!).
Please let me know if you have any questions, I\'m happy to answer any queries regarding the class

Went to the class this morning and found it a well organised, friendly session with a variety of exercises that taxed me and made me remember muscles I had forgotten about but without overdoing it.
The hour passed very quickly and I shall certainly go again.

I also started these classes this morning and found the hour passed by really quickly. Made me realise how much I needed that hour!! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend.

Hello again Lesley and Marian
I'm so pleased that you enjoyed this morning's class. Look forward to seeing you both again soon.

After your warm up on Tuesday (!) why not come along to our Pilates class on Thursday at 10am in the Millennium Centre?

We have also had to move from Bohunt School and our teacher, Karen, can tailor the class to suit all abilities.

Please contact her on 01730 894061 for further information. We start back on Thursday 19th September.

Jay W, I think that your Thursday pilate class would be the cooldown to our Tuesdays class! I've been going to the gentle excercise for many years and the teacher Helen makes sure we get a good workout.
But thank you anyway for your offer.

why have both of these classes moved from bohunt school ?

'gentle exercise' do you cater for people who cant stand for very long due to bad ankles?

Re: New Gentle Exercise Class
- Helen Page (11th Sep 2013 - 16:50:45)

Hello Jennie
We have a few ladies who have had knee or hip replacements, bad backs, sciatica etc and are always given the option to sit out any exercise and have a rest when they feel they need to, so you should be ok with your ankle problem. It's probably best if you come along to a session and have a go to see how you fare.
We have moved from Bohunt School as the school wanted to use the room we were hiring out from them.
