Tombola prizes needed please - Allison Harding (14th Aug 2013 - 15:49:43) Does anyone have any unwanted gifts or other items which would be suitable for tombola prizes please? Prizes for adults or children would be gratefully received by the charity Greyhound Rescue West of England for their stalls at events over the next few weeks. I can collect if that helps. Please email me at handh_1984@sky.com Greyhound Rescue West of England (www.grwe.com) is the leading greyhound rescue charity in England and Wales independent of the greyhound racing industry. We are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of abused and abandoned greyhounds and lurchers. From humble beginnings in the west of England the charity now operates nationally - throughout the south-west and up through to Cheshire in the north-west, and across the Home Counties to Kent in the far south-east - rehoming over 600 of these special dogs every year. We have very active rehoming and fundraising teams in Hampshire and as we are entirely reliant on donations and fundraising efforts we are constantly needing prizes for our tombola stalls which we run at various shows throughout Hampshire. Our hounds would be very grateful for any support you can give. In May 2013 GRWE was named Animal Charity Team of the Year at the Petplan/Association of Dogs and Cats Homes Awards.
