iPhone Screen Repair Recommendations
- Vic (10th Aug 2013 - 21:08:25)

I did the unthinkable and dropped my phone leaving me with a smashed screen. Does anyone know of a local iPhone screen repair place or a company that will come out here to fix it?

Thanks

Hi, my son dropped his iPhone 4S and smashed the front screen. We took it to The iPhone Doctor in Waterlooville who replaced the front & the back for £75, and it was done with in an hour. Give them a go

My son regularly breaks the screen on his phone...4 and counting! We have always ordered the screen and kit online for about £20 and done it ourselves. It is a bit fiddly but if you're prepared to give it a go it will cost a lot less.

You've not said what model iPhone!

If is upto 3gs, a small Phillips head screwdriver will open it up and you can get screens on eBay for about £15

iPhone 4 upwards will require a small pozidrive screwdriver. Again screens online around £20-25 mark.

It is far easier than you would think to do, hence why the lads in a shop can turn it around in 1hr!

Look online at tutorials. Don't pay £75!!!!

Hi
I used this guy for two phones: www.odinious.com. He is young chap earning some extra cash in Haslemere. Still lives at home with his parents and I dropped it off to his home and picked it up a few hours later. He was very reasonably priced and I couldn't recommend him enough.

Tim
