Radford Park - Russ & Irene (5th Aug 2013 - 16:34:09) We went for a walk down Radford Park and O what a lovely surprise. From the London road entrance all the bramble and rubbish has been cleared and the view from the road looks right down through the Park. The water falls were cascading down and look lovely but the best bit was the beautiful wild flower bank by the new steps on the car park by Malthouse Meadows entrance. If you have not seen it I suggest you go now with all the poppies daisy etc out it is a stunning picture for visitors to the Park. A big thanks to the Parish Councillors and grounds men they are doing a fantastic job. It is now looking like a park and not another piece of rough common land. Archie Derry’s dream is coming to life again. Well done.
