Distant rave
- Alan Baker (20th Jul 2008 - 12:01:44)

So how many residents of the area were woken at 5am by the distant sound of very loud music?

Luckily it stopped, or the wind changed direction around 6am, and I managed to go back to sleep.

Any ideas where it was coming from? I suppose the police were too busy deciding on camera locations to be able to locate and shut it down. I pity people who lived nearer to it.

Strangely enough I was woken up at about 5.26 this morning by the sounds of one of my cats being sick....perhaps she'd gone to the rave and binge drunk :O

Didn't hear any music though....

Thought you might have been referring to the music that kept us awake on Friday night! It seemed to be coming from Bohunt direction (we live across the road from Bohunt Manor). It did stop by 12 midnight but my husband phoned the police and we were informed that someone else has also called to complain - don't know if the police investigated or not. The bass was so high that my pictures were practically jumping away from the walls!!! God alone knows how loud it must have been if you were actually at the party.. Anyone know what this was all about?? Can't help you with the rave last night I obviously slept through that one!
