Westlands Farm Cottages - Liphook - Brenda Coombes (12th Jul 2008 - 15:28:23) Hello everyone, Hope someone can help me! I'm trying to find some information about Westlands Farm Cottages which were/are situated on Longmoor Road in Liphook. I grew up there in the 1960s and was wondering whether they still exist or not since I would like to visit the area on Monday and see how much it has changed since then. I remember there was a health farm not far from where I lived if this helps :-) Also, do you know if it would be far to walk there from Liphook station, and if any buses go towards ''Longmoor Camp'' please? Sorry for all the questions! Thanks

Re: Westlands Farm Cottages - Liphook - ellen (12th Jul 2008 - 18:47:21) Hello No its not far to walk to Longmoor road from the station but as you will remember the road is very long! It starts village end, at the anchor pub, I think longmoor camp is away along the A3 towards Bordon which is too far to walk. As I am a newbie here I dont know of the cottages but am sure someone will let you know Good luck

Re: Westlands Farm Cottages - Liphook - Chris (13th Jul 2008 - 08:14:44) Acording to a map in Cape's "Rural Life In Hampshire", Westland Farm is about 3/4 mile to 1 mile from the village centre, on the left just before Old Thorns hotel which may be the health farm you refer to.
