County Councillor Report to Full Council 29/7/13 - Ferris Cowper (29th Jul 2013 - 15:43:41) Report To Bramshott And Liphook Parish Council From County Councillor Ferris Cowper. 1. Highways The resurfacing project in The Square was due to start today but will now start tomorrow. Councillors are fully briefed on this project as far as I know and so I haven’t added any more details here. I visited the site today to talk with the contract supervisor and the clerk of works. I also visited Mr. Haines of Anchor Garage to discuss the worries of the local business community and to check that HCC were doing all they could to mitigate any loss of income. 2. Children’s Services I’m in the process of arranging some preliminary meetings about primary school capacity in the light of the BMFL project. 3. BMFL Thank you for inviting me to chair the public meeting in the Millennium Centre. I thought this was a very successful meeting and I counted about 240 attendees. Please accept my congratulations for putting on such an important public information event. 4. Devolved Grant The Devolved Grant budget is now open to applications from small community groups.
