Liphook in Bloom
- Katy C (1st Jul 2008 - 17:35:58)

Dear All

Just a quick reminder to let you all know next week, 7 - 13 July is Liphook in Bloom week.

The agenda so far is:

Monday - shop window competition judged - please be ready early!

Tuesday - judges from South and South East in Bloom tour Liphook in the morning and judge all areas. The route is briefly as follows:

Anchor pub to Bohunt School then to infant school, the allotments, through Bramshott lanes, Radford park, through the Rec and Bowling green, The Berg, Fletchers Field through the village to Manor Fields, to the Peak Centre and finnish at the Milennium Centre.

Wed - Fri Local competition judged -e.g. back gardens, hanging baskets, pubs etc

Good luck to all entrants in the local competition. Already things seem to be hotting up. I have spoted some lovely displays at Yolandas barbers, Liphook Travel, SK Electrical and The Village Tandoori to name but a few. Please encourage everyone to join in the fun and get Liphook Blooming. We can all do our bit by keeping the area around our homes and business tidy and litter free.

Enjoy the sunshine and let's get blooming!

Best wishes

Katy

PS If you see the judges on Tuesday give them a wave!

Have you seen the fire station? Absolutely brilliant, even has a water feature!

Also Sainsburys has been busy planting Lavenders at the front, very nice scent when you walk by.

Keep up the good work everyone and good luck to all entrants next week.

Katy
