I'm assuming they are there to set up the fair. Do you expect them to turn up Friday morning and have everything set up by early friday evening? I live opposite the millennium green, no rides have yet started nor have I heard any noise from the fair.

Ooh, it's fun driving past every day and looking forward to the fair. I hope they have a Walzer!

See you there Fred!!!

When they do corporate and military events they arrive am to set up and clear when the event finishes later the same night.

I'm sure they could physically put it up / down in one day, but they are a travelling fair, they probably set up in a new town every Fri / Sat / Sun, so where do you expect them to go in between?

I think it's reasonable that they travel to a new town on the Monday and spend the week, they clearly have permission to be there this week and I can't see that they are causing any problems - aside from creating some excitement for the Liphook Moaners ;).

It's not like they visit very often is it.. I say WELCOME, and I look forward to some candy floss and funfairing at the weekend...

Health and safety has changed so much in recent years, I doubt they would just be allowed to turn up the night before, bung it all up and whey hey, off you go.
I should imagine there have site inspections and safety inspections coming out of their ears, the way local authorities work I'm surprised they don't have to be there three months before.
